Refund policy

Short version: we stand behind the product. We also can't resell a tin someone has scrubbed with. So returns are limited to unopened, sealed product. Read the rest if you want the details.

What we accept

  • Unopened tins, foil seal under the lid intact
  • Within 14 days of the delivery date on your tracking
  • In original condition (no damage to the tin or label that didn't happen in transit)
  • From the original buyer, with the order number

What we don't accept

  • Opened tins (foil peeled or lid unscrewed)
  • Tins delivered more than 14 days ago
  • Tins that have been used, even once
  • Wood medallions, Beaver Shavings, or any free promotional inclusions

How to start a return

  1. Email hello@getdamgood.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and which tin(s) you want to return.
  2. We'll reply within 1-2 business days with a return shipping address.
  3. Pack the tin(s) securely. You're responsible for the return shipping cost and any damage in transit.
  4. Send it tracked. Email us the tracking number.
  5. Once we receive and inspect, we'll refund the product cost to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.

What we refund

The product cost of the unopened, returned tin(s). Original shipping fees, expedited shipping upgrades, and return shipping costs are not refunded. Sales tax follows your state's rules.

Damaged or defective items

If a tin arrived broken or the product is defective (mold, separation, off smell, completely flat fizz), email us within 7 days of delivery with photos. We'll send a replacement free of charge — no need to return the bad one.

Wrong item shipped

If you got Beaver Seal when you ordered Beaver Scrub, that's on us. Email us. We'll ship the right thing at no cost and you don't need to send anything back.

Subscriptions

You can cancel, pause, skip, or change quantity on your subscription anytime from your account — no fees. Once a subscription shipment has shipped, it's treated like any other order under this policy.

Skin reactions

The formula contains d-limonene, walnut shell, and SLSa surfactant — all rinse-off skin-safe ingredients at the concentrations used, but allergies happen. If you have a reaction, stop using it immediately and email us. We'll work with you case by case.

Exchanges

We don't process direct exchanges. Return the unopened tin under the standard process, then place a new order.
