Peer-reviewed evidence · Every active ingredient

The Receipts. The science behind every product.

Every active ingredient in the DAM GOOD CO. lineup has peer-reviewed research supporting its inclusion. We don't claim every ingredient has clinical-trial backing — we claim that the ingredients we list here do. Marketing claims that cannot be supported by published research are not made anywhere in our materials.

How to read this

Not all evidence is equal. We label everything.

Some ingredients have multiple human clinical trials. Others have mechanism studies or animal models. Others have safety reviews and chemistry research. We tag each ingredient by the strength of its supporting research so you can make the call yourself.

Strong clinical evidence

Multiple human clinical trials, FDA monograph status, or industry-standard reviews across the cosmetic dermatology field.

Moderate evidence

Documented mechanism studies, smaller human trials, or strong animal model evidence. Increasingly used in evidence-based cosmetic formulations.

Supporting research

Safety reviews, regulatory assessments, and functional/chemistry research supporting use — even where direct clinical efficacy studies are limited.

The line, ingredient by ingredient

Pick a product. Read the receipts.

Each product gets its own page with every active ingredient broken out — what it does, how it works, and the published studies behind the claim. Citations link to PubMed and the original journals.

Why we publish this

Three reasons.

  1. 01

    Our audience reads.

The men and women who work for a living and pay $45 a tin for hand care do not buy on faith. They research what they put on their body. We give them the receipts up front so they don't have to ask.

  2. 02

    Our pricing has reasons.

Clinically-validated ingredients cost more than the cosmetic alternatives. We use squalane instead of mineral oil. We use pharmaceutical-grade lanolin. We use the studied concentration of niacinamide. The customer is paying for that — and they deserve to know why.

  3. 03

If a claim is ever questioned, the answer starts with: "Here's the published study."

No vague wellness language. No mystery proprietary blends. No "clinically proven" without the actual clinic. We cite, we link, and you can verify everything we say in PubMed.

What we do not claim

These are cosmetics. Not medicine.

Not a drug.

DAM GOOD CO. products are cosmetic products as defined under the FD&C Act. They are intended for cleansing, beautifying, and altering appearance. None of our products are intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Ingredient evidence, not product claims.

The studies we cite demonstrate properties of individual ingredients under research conditions. They are not evidence of medical efficacy of the finished cosmetic. Real-world results vary.
